PODI VARIETIES

Podi is a coarse powder mixture of ground spices, It contains Dry Chilles, Coriander Seeds, Black Pepper, Chanadal, Tovar dal, Moong dal, Urad dal, Cumin, Fenugreek, Garlic,Coconut, Seseame, Cilantro, Pudina, Curryleaves, Tamarind, Sesame oil, Peanut, Roasted Chanadal, Asafetida,. Traditionally use PODI as condiment on Idlis, dosas and other south indian dishes. Each Kind of Podi contains different spices. Any Podi (powder) can be used with dosa, Idly Uthappam and white Rice.

Traditionally use PODI as condiment on Idlis, dosas and other south Indian dishes. Each kind of Podi contains different spices. Chutney powders can be mixed with rice and eaten,also be used as an accompaniment for idly and dosa,topped with sesame oil or ghee like idly podi.
